After a long five years of out of form batting, Shahid Afridi really did a boom boom when he knocked 100 on Sri-Lanka soil.. Today its a big day for Afridi as he also became the third batsmen to hit most sixes againt single team; he smashed 51 Sixes against Srilanka, he is following Sanath Jaysuriya of Srilanka who smashed 53 Sixes against Pakistan.
A hundred after nearly five years. One of the very best ODI tons ever and a nice way to bring it up. It was a short-of-length delivery outside off and he opened the bat-face and cut it to backward point boundary. There was no violence it. Just like this innings. You might look at the strike rate and think he went berserk but he didn't. It was a special knock. He went after Murali with some calculated agression. Almost out-of-character innings. He has rarely shown this patience. Afridi last scored a century in 2005, against India in Kanpur.
Damn...! while writing this cheering blog a bad news came up; Afridi is gone. Man he never keep up with his patience, anyway a job well done as a captian. I also congrats to whole nation this cheering and happy moment, and i hope Pakistan will win this match.
